Terms of service
The rules that come with buying a Moirai template, in the same plain language as everything else here.
- Who you are buying from
Moirai is a template library run by Magnaem Studio, a design studio based in Windhoek, Namibia. Questions and problems go to magnaem@moirai.studio, and every email is answered by a person.
Checkout, payment and file delivery run through Lemon Squeezy, which sells the templates as the merchant of record and handles sales tax. Your receipt comes from Lemon Squeezy, and the charge on your statement will show their name.
- What you are buying
Every product is a finished digital design file: a multi-page website design as a Figma file, with a design system, a README and a licence, in one zip. Nothing is made to order and no work is carried out after the sale.
Each product page lists the number of pages, the CMS collections, the fonts used and the price. A preview of each file can be opened on the product page before buying.
- What you are not buying
We do not sell design work, website builds, installation, customisation, consulting or support retainers. Buying a template gives you the file, not our time.
The templates are designs for businesses in various industries, including finance and real estate. They are layouts with sample text. They are not financial, legal, property or any other regulated advice, and the businesses, people and figures shown in them are invented.
- Payment and delivery
Prices are in US dollars and shown on each product page. Sales tax or VAT, where it applies, is added at checkout by Lemon Squeezy.
The download link arrives by email straight after payment. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us and we will send the file directly.
- Your licence
Each purchase is one licence, and one licence covers one website. You may change anything in the file, build the site in any tool, and charge your client whatever you charge.
You may not resell, redistribute or sublicense the file, list it anywhere, or use one licence across several projects. The full terms are on the Licensing page and ship with every download as LICENSE.md.
- Ownership
Magnaem Studio owns the designs, the design systems and everything in the download. A purchase does not transfer ownership.
Fonts and icons used in the templates are free for commercial use under their own licences, and those licences stay with their owners.
- Refunds
Refunds are covered on the Refund policy page.
- No warranty and liability
The files are provided as they are. We do not promise that a template will suit a particular project or produce a particular result.
To the extent the law allows, Magnaem Studio is not liable for any loss that follows from using a template, and any claim is limited to what you paid for it.
- If you break these terms
Reselling or sharing the files ends the licence. Websites already built and live are not affected, but you may no longer use the files for anything new.
- Changes and governing law
These terms may change as the library grows. The version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Namibia.
